Our dark Uganda chocolate with an intense chocolate aroma is refined with fruity raspberries. A refreshing sweet-and-tart flavor surprise.

We use beans from Latitude Trading Co. (LTC) in Bundibugyo District, on the slopes of the Ruwenzori Mountains at the edge of Semliki National Park in western Uganda. Founded in 2016, the company sources its cocoa beans from around 3,431 certified organic smallholder farmers. In addition to a premium to support quality, producers also receive training in organic practices, cocoa quality, and finance.

LTC invests in the creation of high-quality producer polygons (geospatial data), deforestation, and traceability analyses. LTC’s central fermentation facility is located in the town of Kasese, where the beans are sun-dried on raised racks for six to seven days and blended before export.

Our freeze-dried raspberries come from organic farming in Poland and retain their intense aroma through the gentle process.
