Our dark Nicaragua chocolate made from O’Tuma beans delights with fine notes of roasted nuts and wood, plus a light acidity. A balanced, spicy single-origin treat.
Our O’Tuma beans come from the Waslala region, where they are organically grown by a network of around 1,200 smallholder farmers. To guarantee excellent quality of the Trinitario genetics, the cocoa is harvested fresh weekly and, in a central facility, undergoes controlled fermentation for 7 days and drying for 7 days. The entire process is organic-certified and places a special focus on traceability and social sustainability on site.
The result in the bar is a complex flavor profile with fine notes of roasted nuts, wood, and a pleasant, light acidity.
